Dr. Ewa Kasprzycka (ek484820fh-muensterde; ewa.kasprzyckachem.uni.wrocpl)

Ewa is currently working on green emitting rare earth complexes, their solubilization in organics and the eventual incorporation into PMMA and Polystyrene beads.

Thomas Rempe, MSc (tr159917@fh-muenster.de)

Received his MSc title in Feb. 2017. Thomas is working on scattering phenomena in polymer dispersions containing Rare Earth activated PMMA beads and on the synthesis of rare earth functional nano-zeolites.

Dr. Marina M. Lezhnina (marina@fh-muenster.de)

Luminescence in nano- and mesoporous matrices, in polymer composites, upvonversion, NIR luminescence, bioassays, ...

Marina is now working at a Bioanalytical Company, but is still associated via third party funded projects.

Franziska Winterstein, BSc (fb526840fh-muensterde)

MSc work on the surface and optical functionalization of luminescent polymer beads; coupling protocols to proteins

Sascha Malik, BSc (malik.saschagmailcom)

MSc work on imbedding of Phthalocyanaines in PMMA and Polystyrene matrix to test their potential for singlet oxygen generation

Dr. Israel Pereira de Assunção (ipassunciq.uspbr)

Israel, like Ewa, worked on the synthesis and characterization of luminescent complexes within polymer beads, mainly PMMA, to be used as immunoprobes. He headed back to Sao Paulo, Brazil, in Aug. 2018, to pick up a docent position.
