A thermal combustion system for solvent loaded waste air with subsequent heat exchangers is installed at an automobile factory in Yizheng, China.
The whole system consists of four lines, each with one combustion system and four heat exchangers. The heat exchangers are used to heat up dryer lines for drying the vanish of the cars.
The capacities and efficiencies of the combustion system and the capacities of the heat exchangers are evaluated to show, that the installed system is sufficient. In addition to the systems own measuring equipment, additional values are evaluated with temporary measuring equipment.
The capacities of the combustion system is recalculated with the currently used fuel gas composition.
All capacities of the heat exchangers are the calculated values at the actual requirements of the dryer lines, so the calculated values are not equal to the design values. With the evaluated values it is indicated, that the installed system has sufficient capacities for the combustion system and for the heat recovery.
